Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week got off to a good start on Saturday when hundreds of boats took to the water in the annual Classics.
Vessels of all sizes under full sail in the light winds made for a spectacular site in the Carrick Roads.
Hundreds of people lined Pendennis Headland to watch the racing with the Falmouth working boats with all their sails up providing just one of the attractions of the day.
A full week of sailng events is now under way organsied by the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association together with a number of shoreside festivities including entertainment in the Events Square.
