Fairline unveils unique flybridge motor boat

Luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Fairline Boats unveils plans for the much-anticipated Squadron 41, a unique flybridge motor yacht of ultimate luxury, spaciousness and performance - all within a remarkably compact hull length. Available from summer 2010, this two en-suite, two cabin boat is set to make serious waves in the 40-50 foot market and the company has already reported 'strong forward orders with all of 2010 production retail sold'.

The smallest in the Squadron range, the new model is still 'every inch a Squadron' and carries many of the design and technology advances pioneered in the larger models to offer a practical, user-friendly flybridge motor yacht for owners to relax and entertain guests.

Featuring class-leading accommodation throughout, the Squadron 41 includes a light, airy saloon with full length windows and sumptuous furnishings, which leads to the large, light-filled galley. The expansive use of glazing throughout includes feature skylights in the forward full beam master cabin to flood light and give a spacious, airy feeling. The starboard guest cabin almost doubles in useable size when its double doors to en-suite are open. 'Floating' furniture increases the appearance of floor size throughout the cabins. The same sense of space and 'big boat' luxury is further enhanced by the extra large flybridge and the openness of the cockpit.

The team, led by Design Director, Adam Greenwood, has worked hard to create a flybridge motor yacht that offers some of the largest accommodation areas on a boat of this size with every available space utilised and maximised to create the most voluminous 40 foot Fairline yet. He comments, 'The Squadron 55, which was launched in the autumn of 2008 challenged every element of design and styling and we questioned the validity and efficiency of each component part of the boat. The resultant model won critical acclaim and awards and we have continued the same demanding schedule with the introduction of each subsequent Squadron. I believe that our latest offering, the Squadron 41 will certainly turn as many heads.' Key features to be unveiled on this exciting new boat will be incorporated into all future Squadrons that will ultimately make up a stunning seven-boat flybridge line-up from 41 to 85 feet. Significant features will include: - Class-leading flybridge, larger than previously seen on boats of this size.

- Class-leading cockpit space with twin transom gates for easy access on either side of the cockpit seating.

- Innovative, concealed tender launch option for Williams 285 Jet RIB to provide safe, clean and open transom.

- In recognition of the needs of on-board entertaining, the galley is one of the largest yet seen on a Squadron as it utilises space under the saloon floor, and will include two fridges - a key factor for the European market.

- Class-leading master cabin with feature skylights and en-suite.

- The introduction of a unique, open-plan guest and en-suite arrangement to create the most spacious guest accommodation yet seen.

- Both en-suites offering full stand-up showers.

Details of the Squadron 41 will be available at Cannes International Boat & Yacht Show in France, Wednesday 9th - Monday 14th September, the PSP Southampton Boat Show, England, Friday 11th to Sunday 20th September 2009, Genoa International Boat Show, Saturday 3rd October to Sunday 11th October, or via authorised Fairline dealers throughout the world.
