Ever dreamed of life on the ocean wave? To celebrate the transformation of the region's bathing waters, thanks to the £2 billion Clean Sweep programme, South West Water is offering five 16 to 25-year-olds the adventure of a lifetime on a tall ship.

Competition winners will spend a week in September aboard the TS Pelican learning how to sail the tall ship as she travels to Portugal. Winners will then be flown back to the UK from Porto.

The competition forms part of the Funchal 500 Tall Ships festival being held in Falmouth in September before the fleet sail for Madeira.

Full details of the competition can be found at thepacket.co.uk/tallships where there are links through to the application form.
