This year’s annual Durgan regatta will be held today.

The fun will start at noon, with a variety of activities on and off the water with rowing, swimming races and an open sailing race, plus a full programme of beach games.

On shore there will be a variety of stalls including a barbecue, teas, a tombola, plenty of home made produce and a raffle and charity auction. Plenty of parking will available courtesy of the National Trust.

All the proceeds from the regatta go to support the vital work of the RNLI and local charities. Last year organisers were able to hand over more than £2,500.
