Young visitors to Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum will have the chance to get their teeth into the new lighthouses: Life on the Rocks exhibition with a number of half-term activities.
Inspired by the classic children’s story The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch, there’s a different “make and take” activity every day of the week, from February 13-21 between 12-3.30pm.
Children will be able to show some flare in making their own lighthouse model; making a Mr Grinling lunch basket; and creating a Hamish the cat mask.
At 11.45am and 1.30pm daily, the museum’s very own “lighthouse keeper” is giving special readings of The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch.
The activities run every day from February 13-21 and are all free with a Museum entrance ticket, but adult supervision is required.
