Pirates invade Falmouth's Maritime Museum
As the heavens opened and poured rain across the country, in Falmouth over 2,500 people poured into the town's Maritime Museum.
Surrounded by pirates swashbuckling their way through the museum's galleries, proudly wearing their eye-patches, pirate hats and compass rose badges, families from as far north as Scotland visited Cornwall's "Visitor Attraction of the Year."
The pirate making activities continue until the end of week, August 8, with Vikings taking over from August 18 to 22 before the pirates return once again from August 25 to 29.
