Newsquest Cornwall, publishers of the Packets in Falmouth, has launched Boating Cornwall – a carefully planned, targeted free magazine and website to reach boating professionals, enthusiasts and casual readers.
The magazine, which also includes boating news from Devon, is free to pick up at carefully selected outlets including marinas, brokers, chandlers, sailing clubs, sailing schools and charter firms plus tourist information centres and waterside bars/cafes to reflect the needs of the readers and advertisers.
The Boating Cornwall website will also be updated daily online at www.boatingcornwall.co.uk, with the benefit of news, information and regular local/regional weather updates.
The first issue focused laying up for winter hints and tips, a focus on the Carrick Roads, a look at essential sea safety kit, yachts and boats for sale in Cornwall, plus a look at the work of the RNLI, local sailing schools and charter firms.
